FEEL...
what wants to come through.
Dynamic Outdoor spaces
provides landscape design, project management, and construction/installation for residential and resort projects throughout the North Fork Valley and the Roaring Fork Valley.
Outdoor Spaces
Inspiring outdoor spaces are places where we can relax and unwind, connect with loved ones, play, and build memories. Whether we are in a residential garden, a resort landscape or a municipal park.... the value that space brings is in how it feels to use it and spend time in it. Does it offer privacy and the opportunity for reflection? Does it offer a unique way of connecting to nature, or, perhaps something beautifully unexpected? Is it a place we want to stay awhile and hang out, or just move right through?
Stone Play
Stones in the landscape evoke a primal, grounding quality. They connect us to the the geology of the earth, to the mountains, to a sense of something bigger than ourselves. Natural outcroppings, retention walls, sculptural focal points, stairs, benches, tables.... using stones in the landscape just plain rocks!
Sculpture
Outdoor sculpture is whimsical and fun. It can be seamlessly integrated into the landscape and provide a punch of interest and playfulness. I love incorporating fence panels, gates, wall art, fountains, and free standing sculpture pieces.... or a rich combination of them all.
Construction
Being involved in the landscape construction ensures that the intention of the design is fulfilled and that the highest quality installation is performed. Dynamic Outdoor Spaces has designed and installed: pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, concrete patios, walks and drives, flagstone, tile, pavers, fireplaces and fire features, fountains, ponds and water features, irrigations systems, night-lighting, large scale boulder siting, salvaged box tree transplanting, site drainage grading and subterranean drainage systems, electrical systems, retention walls, concrete block walls/amenities and more.
Sustainablity
This word and concept is multifaceted with meaning when associated with the landscape world and conjures up something different in each of us. Permaculture, food forests, poly-guild plantings, water harvesting, vermiculture, composting, herb spirals.... all buzzwords of a new movement that can be overwhelming and leave us wondering how much energy we want to put into this lifestyle. Your preferred way forward may involve building your first chicken coop or planting fruit trees instead of ornamentals. Or, you may decide to dive in and adopt a more comprehensive approach to food independence including a farm pond and/or berms and swales on contour. Whatever your level of interest, a landscape plan that integrates the basics of outdoor living.... dining, entertaining, beauty, views, privacy, and the uniqueness of your site makes sustainable living sexy.
